13 airport lounges in
Vancouver International Airport
Vancouver, CA
Our take: Best for international premium flyers, rougher elsewhere
- Best premium option: Air Canada Signature Suite is the standout when you have access: more like a quiet restaurant than a standard lounge, with made-to-order food and a calmer feel.
- International departures: Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge (International) is a good all-around choice with showers, a premium buffet, and a rotating made-to-order dish. Plaza Premium Lounge (International) is also much improved after renovation, but do not count on Priority Pass access there.
- Priority Pass: Coverage is broad but uneven. Domestic B17 is better than the nearby Maple Leaf Lounge, Domestic C29 is weak, USA Preclearance Plaza Premium is the pick over Maple Leaf, and SkyTeam can turn away Priority Pass guests when full.
- Air Canada pattern: The international Maple Leaf is the good one. The domestic and USA Preclearance Maple Leaf lounges are crowded, weak on food, and worth skipping when a better Plaza Premium option is available.
- USA Preclearance: Once you enter the U.S. area, choices get weaker. Use Plaza Premium Lounge (USA Preclearance) over Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge (USA Preclearance), or spend extra time airside internationally before preclearance if your itinerary allows.
