SAN
7 airport lounges in
San Diego International Airport
San Diego, US
Our take: Chase is the clear SAN pick
- Terminal split: Terminal 2 is the lounge terminal at SAN. Terminal 1 has no lounge option in this set, so plan around Terminal 2 if a lounge stop matters.
- Best option: Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club is by far the best SAN lounge, with a premium buffet, QR-code a la carte ordering, open bar, showers, and a short spa/facial amenity.
- Priority Pass: Chase access is strongest for Sapphire Reserve members. Non-Chase Priority Pass members get one U.S. Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club visit per calendar year, access is within 3 hours of departure, and waitlists can happen.
- Aspire warning: Aspire Lounge is the other traditional Priority Pass option, but it is small, extremely crowded, and weak on food despite having a basic buffet, open bar, and shower.
- Airline lounges: Delta and United flyers have decent fallbacks: Delta Sky Club is serviceable but can get crowded, while United Club is small, very nice, and has an open-air-to-terminal area.
