Our take: Card lounges lead, airline clubs are mixed
- Chase Sapphire: Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club is the strongest PHX card-lounge play if you can get in. It has better food and drink than the standard options, and assigned seating helps, but the room is small and can crowd up.
- AmEx Centurion: AmEx Centurion Lounge is worth using in Terminal 4, especially over the Admirals Clubs. It has showers and a premium buffet, though this is a smaller, busier Centurion than usual.
- Terminal 3: United Club and Delta Sky Club are both useful outstation lounges: United is newly renovated and quiet, while Delta is modern and usually calm. Escape Lounge is the only Terminal 3 Priority Pass lounge, but it is small and can be busy.
- American flyers: The Admirals Clubs are convenience stops, not destination lounges. Pick Gate A7 if you are near the A gates, consider B5 for a quieter room, and avoid A19 unless it is your only practical option.
