Our take: DFW’s best lounge choices are in Terminal D
- New Chase option: Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club brings made-to-order food, a premium buffet, showers, complimentary 30-minute facials, and two reservable rest pods.
- Best if eligible: American Flagship First Dining is quiet, with good food and drinks that beat the onboard menu. Leave enough time to enjoy it.
- Other card lounges: Capital One Lounge is one of DFW’s better all-around choices, but it gets busy, so check the waitlist early. AmEx Centurion Lounge is good but often crowded, with food a step below the usual Centurion standard.
- Priority Pass: Non-Chase members get one complimentary Chase visit per calendar year; guests and additional visits cost $75/person. The Club DFW is mediocre, and Priority Pass access at the Terminal D Plaza Premium Lounge is currently unavailable.
- American’s lineup: Flagship Lounge is a solid step up from the Admirals Clubs, especially for food. Among the Admirals Clubs, Terminal A is the better food stop, while C and E are the quieter choices.
